I’ve cared about the Palestinian-Israeli conflict for quite a bit of time now, and have never believed that either country is devoid of blame (yes, that includes Israel). Here’s a video about an innocent Canadian Palestinian who has been detained for 4 years.
I’d also like to post a link to some clips from the Bill Maher show. This is both extremely amusing (Bush and Miss Teen South Carolina speaking) as well as extremely informative, with topics ranging from illegal immigration to the incompetence of the planning on the Iraq war. Oh, and while we’re on the topic, I’d like to recommend watching the meatrix, a cartoon documentary on factory farming. I will get into a bit more detail maybe for another post, but without getting too hypocritical (although I try to eat a lesser percentage of meat, I am not a vegetarian. Perhaps I can get one of my friends to rant about the topic).
